I just checked wikipedia, and there will be a Season 10, consisting of
22 episodes and that season 10 will most probably be the final season in the series

Now I understand!! Episode 11 “Absolute Justice” is a 2 hour episode, but here on this site it is considered just one episode when in fact on
Smallville Wiki it is listed as 2 separate episodes…so the final episode of season 9 is “Salvation”.

FrozenSiox, you are correct, mate! Salvation is episode 22 and it is the last episode of Season 9… but apparently on this site they didn’t consider Episode 11 as actually being Episode 11
AND Episode 12, being a 2 hour episode), so here Salvation is Episode 21 and not Episode 22 Hope you now understand. … so you don’t have to worry if there is another episode that you may have missed

SMALLVILLE HAD THE BEST FINALE I COULD HAVE ASKED FOR. i absolutely loved the writers that came on after the little turmoil they had a few seasons back they broke the barrier that was holding the show back from its true potential. they did an excellent job of joining everything in smallville into one finale that was AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!
