    The shows are so different from the books and alot that they show in the shows are not in the books and I have read them all already. Its weird when I first started watching the shows I seemed really lost lol. But I am loving it..

    Meredith is not a part of the series. The series only takes inspiration from the books, it is not directly based on them

    i absolutely LOVE damon and elena, i mean, when i go back to these old episodes i realize what a jerk damon was, and how much elena actually changed him :) they are so good together, and i bet that in the 2 season’s finale they will be a couple right? or at LEAST in the 3rd one..

    ok! i’m going to be a bit thick here, but let me see if i get it… the vampire that provokes the accident at 4:22min is stefan, right!?so he want’s to know her (elena), because he also did the same to her parents (he killed them), but then when he was going to “kill” elena, he saw she was like katherine, and he saved her, right?? 

    i don’t quite get it all the time, but i guess that’s why i love TVD!!!

    Nooooo- the accident was a real accident and stefen tried to save them- and elenas `dad` said to save elena first – and when stefen went back they were dead – he saw elena looked like katherine and had to go back to meet her – and they feel in love xoxoo

    It’s the BEST show ever! I discovered it by watching The Secret Circle, I read all the TSC books when I was younger and began watching the show..

    Never heard of TVD before this year, but it seriously is the BEST!!!

    I recently went and watched all of season 1, 2, and 3. I started watching this show with the episode “Our Town” and on.. After going back and watching all the episodes it makes soo much sense..

    I read the synopsis on wikipedia for the books, but honestly the books don’t sound that great. I think the TV show is better..

    no damon is the one that causes the accident….and the accident with elanas parents was an actual accident and stefan just happened to hear it and thats how he saved her….he saqw that she looks like katherine and thats why he went back to mystic falls because he had to “know her” hope that helped
