OH I totally get it now. Well, I think I do. This COULD be a spoiler, depending on whether or not my theory is correct, but I think what happened is those men were looking for Boris wife, followed one of his cars, saw that Jill wasn’t her, and left. And Boris had a feeling it was someone he knew (he strikes me as the kind of man to make very many enemies), and now he’s looking into it. As is Jill. There’s my theory, which is a very obvious one, but I’m putting it out there anyway.

Yes Alisha your spot on! From day 1 Paige is always trying to mould Evan fit for her and the family, I mean for god sake, the poor thing got shot in the ass and they are still questioning him!
